A local view on the Hudetz correction of the Yager entropy of dynamical systems

In this paper, we define a local version of Hudetz correction for the Yager entropy of dynamical systems. It is proved that the introduced function is indeed a local entropy map for the Hudetz correction of the Yager entropy, in the sense that, the Hudetz correction of the Yager entropy of a continuous map on a compact metric space is attained by integrating the introduced local entropy.     

Automated delineation of non-small cell lung cancer: A step toward quantitative reasoning in medical decision science

Quantitative reasoning in medical decision science relies on the delineation of pathological objects. For example, evidence-based clinical decisions regarding lung diseases require the segmentation of nodules, tumors, or cancers. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tends to be large sized, irregularly shaped, and grows against surrounding structures imposing challenges in the segmentation, even for expert clinicians. An automated delineation tool based on spatial analysis was developed and studied on 25 sets of computed tomography scans of NSCLC. Manual and automated delineations were compared, and the proposed method exhibited robustness in terms of the tumor size (5.32–18.24 mm), shape (spherical or irregular), contouring (lobulated, spiculated, or cavitated), localization (solitary, pleural, mediastinal, endobronchial, or tagging), and laterality (left or right lobe) with accuracy between 80% and 99%. Small discrepancies observed between the manual and automated delineations may arise from the variability in the practitioners' definitions of region of interest or imaging artifacts that reduced the tissue resolution.     

Microstructure and hydrogen storage properties of Ti–V–Cr based BCC-type high entropy alloys

In this work, the crystal structure and hydrogen storage properties of V₃₅Ti₃₀Cr₂₅Fe₁₀, V₃₅Ti₃₀Cr₂₅Mn₁₀, V₃₀Ti₃₀Cr₂₅Fe₁₀Nb₅ and V₃₅Ti₃₀Cr₂₅Fe₅Mn₅ BCC-type high entropy alloys have been investigated. It was found that high entropy promotes the formation of BCC phase while large atomic difference (δ) has the opposite effect. Among the four alloys, the V₃₅Ti₃₀Cr₂₅Mn₁₀ alloy shows the highest hydrogen absorption capacity while the V₃₅Ti₃₀Cr₂₆Fe₅Mn₅ alloy exhibits the highest reversible capacity. The cause of the loss of desorption capacity is mainly due to the high stability of the hydrides. The higher room-temperature desorption capacity of the V₃₅Ti₃₀Cr₂₅Fe₅Mn₅ alloy is due to higher hydrogen desorption pressure. After pumping at 400 °C, the hydrides can return to the original BCC structure with only a small expansion in the cell volume.     

长江经济带工业集聚对水环境污染的影响——基于空间计量与门槛效应的检验

经济发展与生态环境动态良性循环已经成为社会经济发展的重要议题。为实现长江经济带高质量发展，以2007—2018年长江经济带11个省市为样本，采用空间计量和面板门槛模型考察工业集聚与水环境污染之间的关系。研究表明：长江经济带各省市水环境污染具有显著的空间自相关性；长江经济带工业集聚水平和水环境污染表现出先降低后增强的“U”形变化特征，说明工业集聚水平对水环境污染的影响存在一个阈值；长江经济带工业集聚产生的规模效应和结构效应对水环境污染存在显著的双门槛效应，在不同的工业集聚水平下，规模效应和结构效应表现出不同的外部性特征；工业集聚产生的技术溢出效应对水环境污染的影响同样具有显著的双门槛作用；随着各地区工业集聚水平的提高，技术溢出效应对水环境污染的减排作用表现出先强后弱的趋势。     

基于熵权物元模型的长三角幸福河层次评价

将幸福河概念与长江三角洲区域一体化发展战略相结合，基于自然、人类社会、人水关系3个系统构建了包含24个指标的长三角幸福河层次评价指标体系；引入需求层次理论，以基础Ⅰ层次、基础Ⅱ层次、提升Ⅰ层次、提升Ⅱ层次、幸福层次5个层次作为幸福河的层次评价等级，运用熵权物元模型，建立了长三角幸福河层次评价模型，并对2018年长三角三省一市幸福河层次等级进行了评价。结果表明，三省一市均处于转化中的中间状态，其中江苏省向提升Ⅰ层次转化，浙江省、安徽省向提升Ⅱ层次转化，上海市向幸福层次转化，说明区域整体幸福河层次处于较高水平，但稳定性较差。     

Information system business affecting impact evaluation method

To effectively analyze the impact of continuous business interruption on the information system,an information system business affecting impact evaluation method (IBAIE) is proposed.First,we identify the main businesses of the system and quantify their vulnerability.Then,we take the businesses as the nodes of network topology and weight nodes based on the business significance.The orderly association between businesses is taken as the edges which are weighted based on the association between asset and business,and the directed weighted business network topology is obtained.Finally,the method of directed weighted network structure entropy is used to evaluate the change of system business network structure during the period from business interruption to recovery.Experiments show that this method has obvious advantages in evaluating accuracy compared to other methods,and can be applied in ensuring information system security.     

Study of spatial and temporal evolution of Ar and F atoms in SF6/Ar microsecond pulsed discharge by optical emission spectroscopy

The study of sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) discharge is vital for its application in gas-insulated equipment. Direct current partial discharge (PD) may cause SF₆ decomposition, and the decomposed products of SF₆, such as F atoms, play a dominant role in the breakdown of insulation systems. In this study, the PD caused by metal protrusion defects is simulated by a needle-plate electrode using pulsed high voltage in SF₆/Ar mixtures. The spatial and temporal characteristics of SF6/Ar plasma are analyzed by measuring the emission spectra of F and Ar atoms, which are important for understanding the characteristics of PD. The spatial resolved results show that both F and Ar atom spectral intensities increase first from the plate anode to the needle and then decrease under the conditions of a background pressure of 400 Pa, peak voltage of −1000 V, frequency of 2 kHz, pulse width of 60 μs, and electrode gap of 5–9 mm. However, the distribution characteristics of F and Ar are significantly different. The temporal distribution results show that the spectral intensity of Ar decreases first and then increases slowly, while the spectral intensity of F increases slowly for the duration of the pulsed discharge at the electrode gap of 5 mm and the pulse width of 40–80 μs.     

Study on the friction interface evolution during rotary friction welding of tube

In this study, evolution characteristics of the friction interface during rotary friction welding of tube were investigated. The friction interface that obtained at different welding stage were observed by confocal laser scanning microscopy. The results show that the friction interface transforms from sliding friction state to visco-plastic deformation state when the welding torque reaches the peak value. In addition, based on the thermodynamic framework extracted from the maximum entropy production principle, an analytical model for transition criterion from sliding friction to visco-plastic deformation was established. The model was verified by the corresponding experimental results of eight alloys, which indicated that the accuracy and generality of the model is satisfactory.
